Welcome to the British Bridal Retailers Association (BBRA) Formed in July 2011 we have become the largest bridal retailer association in the U.K. Our numbers grow as word gets around of the fantastic benefits that membership brings. Membership currently numbers over 320.

Membership Criteria

To become a member you need only be a “bricks and mortar” bridal retailer with a premises that can fairly be described as a shop premises. Retailers who sell from their home will not normally qualify for membership.  You must carry at least two mainstream designer gown labels and not sell online (with limited exceptions). There are no financial audits or premises visits required and you do not need to be V.A.T. registered. You can join on your very first day of trading.  

Our Mission

To provide a voice to individual retailers who recognise that by coming together in mutual support we can have a real influence on all the issues that affect our day to day business.

To develop and foster good working relationships with all suppliers and bridal media and to represent our membership at a national level.

To represent our membership where they feel that we can have a positive influence on the outcome. We have already been able to help many retailers address all sorts of issues.

To become the gateway through which today’s brides and grooms will find our member stores and learn of the unique benefits of allowing our members to help them find that dream gown.
